Adrianne “Ajax” Jackson

Adrianne “Ajax” Jackson is the Visionary Owner of Magnolia Yoga Studio, the first Black-owned Yoga Studio in New Orleans, Louisiana. She considers herself a Yoga entrepreneur, a multifaceted teacher, and wellness visionary. Some of her professional goals are to facilitate positive Yoga experiences for all people, empower families, athletes, artists, students and business teams to adopt healthy and preventative practices that lead to their own progressive and passionate lifestyles. 

Ajax is originally from Los Angeles, California, raised partially in Mexico and Brazil and has an African-American and Mexican family background.  She identifies as a Black multi-cultural woman fluent in several languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Yoga and Inspiration!

One of her best attributes is helping people feel heard, comfortable, and welcomed. Ajax is also a great example of how to use Yoga to fulfill a robust, active, and balanced lifestyle. 

Owning a Yoga studio in New Orleans has given Ajax the opportunity to lead conversations, solutions and options on the complexities of health in Black America. Ultimately she encourages ownership of ones health having had first hand experience on how transformative this mindset can be. 

Ajax believes passionately in human potential and her commitment to people’s health is what influences her every day. We have no doubt you will feel the “Ajax effect,” which will inspire you to stay on the road to holistic wellness and intentional living!

Beth Santos

Beth Santos is founder and CEO of Wanderful, a global lifestyle brand and inclusive community of thousands of travelers and travel content creators. Wanderful reaches over 45,000 women each year through a thriving online membership network, local chapter events in 50 cities, global summits and small group trips.

In 2014, Wanderful launched the WITS Travel Creator + Brand Summit, a leading event for women and gender diverse travel creators and industry hosted on two continents each year listed by Forbes as one of the top inspiring events for women to attend. Wanderful is also the creator of the annual Bessie Awards to honor women of impact in travel, as well as the first major outdoor festival for women travelers, Wanderfest. Wanderful has been recognized in Business Insider, Yahoo!, The Chicago Tribune, Lonely Planet, Matador Network, and Skift, among other publications.

Beth is both a Tory Burch Fellow as well as a Zell Fellow, and has been named one of 17 changemakers shaping the future of the travel industry by Business Insider, and one of 10 people shaping the future of Boston by Timeout. In 2014, she was named a top 100 travel blogger in the USA and invited to the White House under the Obama Administration.

She was the co-founder of #AtTheTable, a national movement to support female founders. Today, Beth is an acclaimed thought leader, consultant for travel brands and destination marketing organizations, and keynote speaker who has collaborated with organizations such as Tripadvisor, the Girl Scouts of the USA, and the Travel & Adventure Show. She is one of three co-owners of Ula Cafe, an inspired cafe and community hub in her Boston neighborhood of Jamaica Plain.

Beth is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management and Wellesley College, and lives in Boston with her husband and two daughters.

DJ Ojay

DJ Ojay is a master curator of good sounds and next-level vibes, always providing the spark to keep people shaking & moving at any party or event. DJ Ojay is a native of Ibadan, Nigeria where his hustle, charisma, exuberant personality & love of music was born.

AfroBeats is his specialty, but Ojay will also spice up your life with Hip-Hop, R & B, Soca, Reggae & more. A performer at heart, don’t be surprised if you see him dancing on stage or in the crowd to the latest beats. Ojay not only gives you what you want, but what you need. His creative spirit & drive to create new sounds inspired him to design “AfroBounce,” a unique blend of New Orleans Bounce & AfroBeats that brings a surge of life to any crowd.

Hadiatu Dumbuya is a travel & lifestyle influencer, social entrepreneur and international speaker determined to help others around the world to live their best bold life. She comes from a background in sports marketing (NFL) and wandered her way into her life of full time travel and empowerment. She coined the term global change agent as it embodies all that she is and does. For almost a decade she has mentored thousands across the world in travel, lifestyle, empowerment and entrepreneurship while globetrotting to over 30 countries. Being a descendent of Sierra Leone she strives to provide opportunities to those that once thought their dream life was impossible.

Margie Perez

Margie Perez is a vivacious Singer and Songwriter specializing in a versatile blend of Blues, Pop, and Latin with a New Orleans Funky touch. Dubbed by Offbeat Magazine as "One of the hardest working musicians in New Orleans" she sings with many projects. She leads her own band which performs her original music and is also lead singer of the Latin big band Muévelo.

She performs all over New Orleans and has made multiple Festival appearances such as The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and French Quarter Fest. Margie is also a tour guide for Historic New Orleans Tours and leads a Music History walking tour through the French Quarter.

Marissa “MoeJoe” Joseph

MoeJoe is a New Iberia, Louisiana native and New Orleans resident who labels herself and dance style as Creole-Afro, specializing in the areas of folk and street dance. Her movements and class experiences celebrate southern dance culture and empowers the individual while fusing diasporic world movements to connect and educate about worldwide Creole culture. As a powerhouse instructor, performer and experience host, MoeJoe has made appearances on Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 14, has taught at festivals Wanderlust, Summit Retreat, Hulaween, New Orleans Caribbean Experience and Bayou Bacchanal to name a few. She has served as host and curator of discussions, Audacity of Twerk at Ace Hotel and Tulane Bounce Bus Ride: The Business of Bounce and featured on online shows Professional Black Girl and Phat Phat and All That. When MoeJoe is not hosting or organizing experiences she is an improvisational and folkloric dance performer for New Orleans rare groove DJ Soul Sister, Seguenon Kone’s Ivoire Spectacle, Reggae Band-Higher Heights, Cirque Zuma Zuma and Bounce artists- Ricky Bee, Cheeky Blakk and Ms. Tee to name a few.

Nana Sula Spirit

Nana Sula Janet Evans is the Founding Priestess of the Temple of Light - Ile de Coin-Coin in Musicians’ Village in New Orleans. The Temple is a healing shrine for the elevation of all souls. Sula is a singer-songwriter, an artist, and also the author of the book and cd project "Spirit of the Orisha," a Yoruba language and song preservation project. She is a Black masking Indian and Medicine Queen with the Spirit of Fi Yi Yi and the Mandingo Warriors and a Board Member with the Congo Square Preservation Society.

Sarina Jain is called the "Indian Jane Fonda," as she is the pioneer in bringing Indian dance to the US Fitness at a global level. Recognized as a global game changer, she successfully moves, touches and inspires many people around the world with her knowledge and passion for Bhangra and Bollywood and fitness. Sarina has over 15 workout videos under her belt with Masala Bhangra® classes offered in over 12 countries around the world. In 2021, she will be celebrating 21 years of the inception of Masala Bhangra®! She has bridged the gap of bringing people together of all cultures for one cause – to take fit, keep smiling and be part of a positive community!
